💧 Hill Country Flood Relief: How Austinites Can Help 💧

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating floods that struck the Texas Hill Country earlier this month. Flash floods along the Guadalupe River have swept through communities including Kerrville, Hunt, Ingram, Center Point, Comfort, and beyond, leaving families displaced, homes destroyed, and many still searching for missing loved ones.

Though the damage lies mostly outside Austin’s city limits, the heartbreak hits close to home—and many Austinites are asking how they can help. Here’s a guide to ways you can support relief and recovery efforts, from donating funds and supplies to dining at restaurants contributing a portion of sales.

❤️ How to Donate

Austinites: Check Austin Monthly for more ways you can directly and locally support businesses, churches, and funds aiding relief efforts.

• Donate to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. These funds go directly to vetted local relief and rescue operations.

• Donate to Texas Search and Rescue (TEXSAR) to support emergency rescue operations, supplies, and search efforts.

• Austin Pets Alive! is coordinating assistance for pets affected in Kerr County. Donate or volunteer!
